Which one of the following pairs of breeds is not correctly matched ?

Minorca is an exotic Mediterranean egg-type POULTRY breed originating from Minorca (Spain), known for large chalk-white eggs; it is NOT a swine (pig) breed. Hence, 'Minorca — Swine' is incorrectly matched.
Bhadawari is a distinctive copper-colored buffalo breed native to the Ravines of Yamuna and Chambal (UP/MP/Rajasthan), celebrated for having the highest milk fat content among buffalo breeds (breed average $8.0\text{--}8.5\%$, with individual records reaching $12\text{--}13\%$ in peak lactation).
Sonadi: Famous long-eared mutton-cum-carpet wool sheep breed of southern Rajasthan (Mewar).
Barbari: Prolific, stall-fed dairy goat breed adapted to urban rearing.

MCQ (Single Correct) +1 −0.33

Which of the following is vice in animal due to mineral deficiency ?

Pica (also termed allotriophagy or depraved appetite) is an abnormal behavioral condition in ruminants characterized by craving and ingesting non-food materials such as soil, rocks, wood, bones, rags, or leather.
Pica is primarily induced by severe phosphorus ($P$) deficiency in livestock rations, as well as salt (sodium chloride) or trace mineral deficiencies.
Chewing on bones (osteophagia) in phosphorus-deficient areas often exposes cattle to botulism poisoning caused by Clostridium botulinum toxins present in decaying carcasses.
Other options (kicking, biting) are behavioral temperaments or vices caused by handling, not mineral deficiencies.
Hence, Pica is caused by mineral deficiency (Option 2).

RPSC Agriculture Officer 2020 (Q.75)

MCQ (Single Correct) +1 −0.33

Most of the milch breed of cattle belongs to which region of India ?

Indigenous humped cattle (Bos indicus) in India are broadly classified into milch, draught, and dual-purpose breeds.
The premier indigenous milch (dairy) breeds of India originate from the North-Western agro-climatic region (encompassing Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Gujarat):
Sahiwal: Originating from Montgomery (Punjab)
Red Sindhi: Originating from Sindh/NW dry tract
Gir: Originating from the Gir hills of Kathiawar (Gujarat)
Tharparkar: Originating from the Thar desert (Rajasthan/Sindh)
Rathi: Indigenous to the dry tract of Bikaner (Rajasthan)
Southern India is predominantly known for hardy draught breeds (e.g. Amritmahal, Hallikar, Kangayam).
Hence, most milch breeds belong to the North-West region (Option 3).
