Shelf life of liquid bio-fertilizers can be upto :

1-2 months 1-2 महीने 3-4 months 3-4 महीने 1-2 years 1-2 वर्ष 3-4 years 3-4 वर्ष

Traditional carrier-based biofertilizers (using lignite, charcoal, or peat) have a short shelf life of only 6 months and are susceptible to desiccation and contamination.
Liquid biofertilizers contain cell protectants, cell dormancy inducers, and osmoprotectants that maintain a viable bacterial population ($\gt 10^8$ CFU/ml) for 12 to 24 months (1 to 2 years) at ambient temperatures.
They tolerate high temperatures up to $45^\circ\text{C}$ and allow application via drip irrigation systems.
Hence, the shelf life of liquid biofertilizers is up to 1-2 years (Option 3).

MCQ (Single Correct) +1 −0.33

Lac is usually marketed as :

Crude lac scraped directly from host twigs (Ber, Kusum, Palas) is termed Sticklac.
When sticklac is ground, sieved, and washed thoroughly with water to remove lac dye and insect debris, it forms Seedlac (granular lac).
Upon heat processing, filtration through cloth, and stretching into paper-thin translucent flakes/sheets, it forms Shellac, which represents the final refined, standardized commercial commodity traded globally in varnish, polishing, and pharmaceutical industries.
Hence, lac is usually marketed commercially as Shellac (Option 1).

MCQ (Single Correct) +1 −0.33

Which of the following antidotes are used for carbamate poisoning ?

Carbamate insecticides (such as Carbaryl and Carbofuran) reversibly inhibit acetylcholinesterase, leading to excessive accumulation of acetylcholine at neuro-effector junctions (salivation, lacrimation, miosis, convulsions).
Atropine (an alkaloid competitive muscarinic receptor antagonist) is the specific and vital life-saving antidote that blocks post-synaptic muscarinic acetylcholine receptors until the carbamylated enzyme spontaneously reactivates.
Note: Pralidoxime (2-PAM) is strictly contraindicated in pure carbamate poisoning because it increases carbamate toxicity; only Atropine is indicated.
Hence, Atropine is the antidote for carbamate poisoning (Option 1).

MCQ (Single Correct) +1 −0.33

Coccinella septempunctata is a :

Coccinella septempunctata (the seven-spotted ladybird beetle, family Coccinellidae, order Coleoptera) is a beneficial predatory beetle widely distributed across agricultural ecosystems.
Both its grubs (larvae) and adult beetles are voracious, active Predators that hunt and consume hundreds of soft-bodied insect pests daily, especially aphids (aphidophagous), jassids, mealybugs, and whiteflies.
predator kills multiple prey individuals during its life cycle, whereas a parasitoid requires only a single host to complete development.
Hence, Coccinella septempunctata is a Predator (Option 2).
