Analysis of precision agriculture technologies:

• GIS: Geographic Information System, a software tool for analyzing spatial data.
• GPS: Global Positioning System is a satellite-based radio-navigation system that utilizes a constellation of 24 operational satellites in medium Earth orbit to provide precise geospatial positioning.
• VRT: Variable Rate Technology, used to apply inputs at variable rates across fields.
• DSS: Decision Support System, computer software for farm management decisions.

Analysis of weather forecasting scales:

• 3: Short-range weather forecast (valid for up to 3 days).
• 10: Medium-range weather forecast (valid for 3 to 10 days, widely utilized for agricultural advisories).
• 10-15: Extended forecast range.
• 15-21: Long-range or seasonal outlook.

• In crop agronomy, 'Dibbling' is a precise manual method of sowing seeds at exact spacing and depth.
• pointed wooden stick, peg, or metallic instrument called a 'dibbler' is pressed into prepared soil to make small holes at regular intervals.
• Seeds (such as cotton, maize, or cucurbits) are dropped into these holes and covered with loose soil.
• This method minimizes seed rate requirements and guarantees optimum plant population geometry.
• Hence, dibbling is a method of sowing seed (Option 4).
