Hence, the correct match is (A)-(IV), (B)-(III), (C)-(II), (D)-(I).

Q.3

ICAR AIEEA PG Social Sciences 09 July 2023 (Shift 1) Paper (Q.118)

Statement Based

Given below are two statements

Statement (I) : An expert system in agricultural extension is essentially a decision support system for farmers and extension agents to obtain expert opinion and advice on field-specific problems.

Statement (II) : The frontline demonstrations are conducted by extension agents of the state department of agriculture.

In light of the above statements, choose the most appropriate answer from the options given below:

Both Statement (I) and Statement (II) are correct. Both Statement (I) and Statement (II) are incorrect. Statement (I) is correct but Statement (II) is incorrect. Statement (I) is incorrect but Statement (II) is correct.

Analysis of statements:

Statement (I) is CORRECT: Agricultural Expert Systems (e.g., Rice-Crop Doctor, AgriPest) use knowledge bases and inference engines to simulate human expert reasoning, providing diagnostic recommendations and decision support to farmers and field workers.
Statement (II) is INCORRECT: Frontline Demonstrations (FLDs) are conducted strictly by agricultural scientists of the ICAR institutes and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) under the First-Line Extension system of ICAR to demonstrate production potential of new technologies directly to state extension personnel and farmers. Field demonstrations conducted by state department agents are regular field demonstrations, not FLDs.

Therefore, Statement (I) is correct but Statement (II) is incorrect.

Q.4

ICAR AIEEA PG Social Science 14 July 2023 Shift-1 Paper (Q.90)

MCQ (Single Correct)

Networked media exist in inter-connected:

Structural topology of digital and networked media:

In media studies and ICT theory, Networked media (internet platforms, digital mesh networks, mobile application interfaces) fundamentally exist and operate within interconnected Technological environments consisting of computing hardware, transmission protocols, data cables, satellite networks, and algorithmic software platforms.
While networked media produce profound social and political impacts, their physical existence and architectural connectivity are situated within technological environments.
