Given below are two statements, one is labelled as Assertion (A) and other one labelled as Reason (R).

Assertion (A) : Inflation is a rising trend in the general price level in the economy.

Reason (R) : Sporadic price spurt or an imperceptible rise in price is not inflation.

In light of the above statements, choose the correct answer from the options given below:

नीचे दो कथन दिए गए हैं, एक को अभिकथन (A) और दूसरे को कारण के रूप में लेबल किया गया है।

अभिकथन (A) : मुद्रास्फीति (महंगाई) अर्थव्यवस्था में सामान्य कीमत स्तर में लगातार वृद्धि की प्रवृत्ति है।

कारण : कीमतों में यदा-कदा होने वाली छिटपुट वृद्धि या अप्रत्यक्ष मूल्य वृद्धि मुद्रास्फीति नहीं है।
