Note: This question was officially DROPPED by NTA because none of the four options correctly started with Glucose.
The true increasing molecular weight order is:

$$\text{Glucose (MW } \approx 180) \lt \text{Sucrose (MW } \approx 342) \lt \text{Starch / Amylopectin (MW } \approx 10^5 - 10^7)$$

Since Glucose (C) has the lowest molecular weight, any valid sequence must begin with (C). Because none of the choices 1, 2, 3, or 4 included (C) as the first entry, NTA dropped this question and awarded full marks to all candidates.
